Aug. 5, 1920 - Selma Diamond, Selma from Night Court, is born in Montreal.

 

May, 1921 - With a revised version of “Biff, Bing, Bang”, the Dumbells open at the Ambassador Theater in New York, becoming the first ever Canadian revue to appear on Broadway.


Sept. 15, 1921 - Norma MacMillan born in Vancouver. Prior to the Simpsons, the best known child’s voice in North America. Voiced the daughter on the Grammy winning “First Family” comedy album, and was the voice of ‘Casper the Friendly Ghost” among others.


Sept. 17, 1922 - Comic actress Candy Kane born Edna Bond in Ottawa.


Feb. 4, 1923 - Conrad Bain of Maude and Different Strokes fame, is born in Lethbridge, AB.


Sept. 24, 1924 - Don Harron is born in Toronto.


Dec. 5, 1925 - Dave Broadfoot born in North Vancouver.
